CHAMBER MUSIC ATHENS 2024: AROUND THE WORLD

The next Chamber Music Athens festival will take place between May 12-21, 2024. Each of our festivals brings together guest artists, UGA faculty and students for a week of intense learning and performance series in many of Athens’ most beautiful venues.

The theme of the 2024 festival is AROUND THE WORLD with concerts highlighting repertoire from several continents and an international line-up of guest artists.

Our extraordinary performers this May include the Borromeo String Quartet (quartet-in-residence, New England Conservatory, Boston), bandoneon virtuoso Juan Pablo Jofre (Argentina/New York), violinist Itamar Zorman (winner, Tchaikovsky International Competition), pianist Amy Yang (Curtis Institute of Music), tenor Joshua Stewart (New Orleans/UK), harpist Elisabeth Remy (Atlanta Symphony), and the Athens Hip-Hop Harmonic, featuring Hip-Hop artist Squallé and poet Lemuel LaRoche.
